Frequently asked questions
Do my drivers still need the TollRo app?
Yes. The driver starts a TollRo session for the right truck on every trip, as the law requires. LoadHub Driver runs next to it and tells your office when the session stops or goes wrong.
Which phones does monitoring work on?
Android phones with access to Google Play. LoadHub Driver also runs on iPhone for UIT GPS reporting, but TollRo monitoring is Android only for now.
Is the estimate the exact amount I'll pay?
It's an estimate based on the official rates (Order MTI 1925/2025). The actual charge is set by CNAIR, and bridge tolls are not included.
Can foreign trucks and companies use it?
Yes. TollRo accepts foreign companies and foreign trucks, and the Global plan is built for carriers from outside Romania. LoadHub and TollRo both run in English.
What about on-board units?
From 15 January 2027, on-board units from authorised providers become an option. Until then, most fleets pay through the TollRo app, which is exactly what LoadHub watches.
What happens after October?
The estimate stays free. Monitoring costs €1 per truck per month, only for trucks with monitoring switched on, and you can switch it off at any time.
Do I need a GPS provider?
No. LoadHub Driver on the truck's phone handles both TollRo monitoring and the GPS for your UIT codes. If you already use one of the 25+ integrated GPS providers, it can report your UIT codes instead.
I already have a LoadHub account. How do I turn TollRo on?
An account manager opens Account settings → Integrations, reads the terms, ticks the acceptance box and turns on the TollRo monitoring switch. It takes a minute.
