National transport: The obligation to generate a UIT code applies only to goods listed as high fiscal risk (HFRG).
International transport — imports, exports, and intra-Community acquisitions and deliveries: A UIT code is mandatory for all types of goods, regardless of industry, when the transport exceeds 500 kg or 10.000 RON.
